Gregory Folston Durham Sr
The name is probably already familiar to most Pulaski County
(Arkansas) residents. He trained the famous police dog
"Jubilee" for the Pulaski County Sheriff's Department in the early
1980's. For those who are not yet familiar with Mr. Durham's
talents, what follows is a brief summary of his accomplishments.
Mr. Durham has spent over three decades perfecting his training
theories on just about every breed known to man. During this
time Mr. Durham has received respect nationally from his peers.
He is now recognized as one of the best in the world in his field.
All of this is to your advantage, for Mr. Durham can vitalize his
abilities on anything from an over-anxious Cocker Spaniel to a
hard-headed bird dog. You'll learn more about your dog in a five

To summarize, in the last decade, society as a whole has erupted.
Many individuals have made untiring efforts to elude the violence
that has spread throughout our nation. Families have taken
several different measures to protect their homes. One area that
a diverse group of individuals are using for protection is the use of
a trained dog. There are many reasons why individuals and
companies utilize trained dogs. Some train their dogs for
convenience in handling their pets; some train their dogs for the art
of competition and some do training for the purpose of protection.
Organizations such as the Law Enforcement Agencies utilize
trained dogs for the purpose of defending police officers, to
search for suspects, search for narcotics, etc.
In the late 1800's, a well distinguished man by the name of
Matthew Henson was known for two special traits. One was that
he was the first black man to serve as the General's right hand
man. The second was that he was the only man out of twelve
troops stranded at the North Pole who knew how to command the
Eskimo Dogs. Today, a well experienced gentleman starting in
1978 has stepped up and started a business doing what many
individuals cannot do - train dogs effectively. Mr. Durham spent
his childhood surrounded by dogs and the training of dogs by his
father. This special gift was passed on from father to son.
